Serengeti is probably my favorite rapper of this current era of rap. He has a side project/group/album called Friday Night. Friday Night is made up of SERENGETI, HI-FIDEL and L.A. production duo Breakfast Club.
Their first album titled ‘Friday Night’, is a story album which tells the tale of Umar and Dave, two guys that work together at a 9-5 office job and don’t particularly even like each other, but end up going on a life changing night of bars, clubs, accidental heroin sniffing, intentional coke sniffing, and shady women (well sort of) after being stood up in a bar by the same woman. I don’t want to tell you too much, so you need to check that out for yourself.
The group is currently finishing up their 2nd album, which is respectively titled ‘Saturday Night’. Who knows what type of adventures these two will find themselves on this time. One thing I do know is that in this fantasy world of Saturday Night, Geti and Umar find themselves in a super 93′ rap group called Tha Grim Teachaz’ with, get this, SON DOOBIE of Funkdoobiest. Stay tuned for Saturday Night which is scheduled to drop in June, but in the mean time check this out:

Before you start asking yourself, “Yo, is Tone on some racist shit!?”, check this out, it’ll save both of us a lot of breath.
I always knew Panthro was a black man, but recently I was watching the Thundercats as a grown up and it hit me that he was a Skinhead. He has the shaved head. He has the suspenders. He is a black Skinhead.
I decided a ‘Skinhead Panthro’ needed to exist, and I wanted one for myself, so I made 24 of them out of resin and vacuum plastic.
Get your own ‘Non-Racist, Black Skinhead Panthro’ at the Scumlife store. Get em’ while they last.
Oh yeah, my man Scott Thorough made some theme music for a Skinhead Panthro commercial that never got made here it is.
